The "Triangular" DevOps platform team

Platform teams come in different shapes and forms, and support DevOps capabilities and enablement. But is there a recipe that is industry and context agnostic around how to design and execute the platform teams' operating models?

After several years working with DevOps transformations in the financial services industry, I have experienced several approaches to designing and operating platform teams. The model that I have found to be context agnostic and always delivering on expectations is the one I call the "Triangular Platform Team". The session will provide you with context and insights on:

  • How and where the model originated 
  • How it was established from an operating model perspective
  • The lessons we learnt from its adoption
