From the UK, to Europe and the USA: Building an offline community

We founded Women in DevOps in 2017 with a clear vision to close the ever-present gender gap in the DevOps space. In the six years since inception, our community has evolved into a global movement. It is now a platform that elevates the voice of all underrepresented minorities in tech, and provides a safe and supportive space that makes a real impact on the future of work for everyone.
Talk abstract

Join founders Lauren Langdell and Antonia Otter as they discuss the power and promise of a united community.

Our talk will cover:

  • Navigating and learning from the pitfalls of the pandemic as a community
  • How to build a sustainable, engaged, and supportive movement, both online and offline
  • The vital importance of tackling unconscious bias and sharing knowledge
  • How to unlock opportunity and deliver tangible impact through community
  • Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging: The driving force behind innovation

As the Women in DevOps community grows, raising awareness and working together towards a shared vision of a fairer future is essential. Come and get involved – creating access to learning has never been so important in the shift to a more equitable working world.
